Contacts / old address showing up
Mail to your old address still reaches you. An old address in a contact list doesn't mean mail is lost.
Outlook suggests a coworker's old address
That address still works. To clean up a suggestion on a computer:
- In the To box, hover over the old suggestion.
- Click its X, or select it and press Delete.
- Pick the new address from the address book next time.
The company address book has old addresses
It updates on its own, usually within about a day.
- In classic Outlook, you can download the address book now.
Customers still have my old address
It keeps working. You can send this note. Replace [your new address] with your new address before sending:
“We're now Value Multifamily. My email is now [your new address]; my old address still reaches me, so nothing you've sent is lost. Please update your records when convenient.”
My phone contacts vanished or doubled
Choose the app that supplies your work contacts:
When re-adding your work account, turn on contact sync.
My contact card still has my old address
- Update your own contact card or electronic business card with your new address.
- Update your email signature too.
Contact IT for changes to your title or phone number in the company directory.
Did mailing list addresses change too?
Most mailing lists now use @valuemultifamily.com. Mail to the old list addresses still arrives.
If mail to a list bounces back, contact IT right away.
